The News On Wednesday January 4th it was announced that Mobileye and the BMW Group will put 40 autonomous test vehicles on the road by the second half of 2017. The upper luxury BMW 7 series, an early target segment for autonomous driving, will be testing vehicles in real traffic conditions in the U.S. and Europe to begin with. Their goal is to develop a fully autonomous vehicle for production (the BMW iNEXT) by 2021.
